Rabbi Shmuley ended March with $74,191 cash on hand, after spending only $16,280 in the first quarter. He will be up against Bill Parscell or Steve Rothman in November depending who of the two will win the Democratic Primary.
Perhaps he didn’t raise a lot of money, but it is a serious showing for someone who never ran and for someone who did not have the full three months to raise funds.
This last Friday The Hill reported that “Rabbi Shmuley has been put “on the radar” by the National Republican Congressional Committee. The designation is the second out of four steps in the “Young Guns” program to recruit new and viable Republican candidates for the House.”
