The Wash Post Wants You to Know That Abramoff Went to Prison

The AP circulated this afternoon a news that former lobbyist Jack Abramoff will start a talk show. Most news agencies ran the story with this headline: Jack Abramoff gets radio show for Clear Channel. Some news sites had the headline with  the words “Disgrace Lobyyst Jack” etc. The Washington Post however had this headline: Disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff, who spent years in prison, gets radio show for Clear Channel

    This is a man who has been elevated to stardom because of his crimes against the people of the US. He has done more than anyone else this century to undermine the confidence of the people in Congress. Our elected officials may not be shining lights but they are not crooks and he is saying they are. The crook has a radio show and speaking engagements and a book. What does that say about our society’s morals?
