Hakeem Jeffries is heading to national recognition following his win of NY8. He forced out a sitting Democrat from the race and then went on to win the Primary against Charles Barron. But going unnoticed is Alan Bellone, who is running as a GOP candidate for this seat.
Bellone’s Bio on his website suggests that he has been in business for the past thirty years. An FEC search of his campaign finances has not turned up any results and his website seems to have been put together by a tired seventeen year old who worked on a computer with pre 1995 programming. However, there is nothing that a good campaign staff can’t adjust for a candidate that is serious about a race, regardless the chances that he may or may not have.
