The campaign of Simcha Felder had someone by the name Isaac Basch to file a challenge against the petitions submitted by Felder’s Democratic Primary opponent Abraham Tischler. The problem is, that Mr. Basch sent and the BOE received a letter from Basch late yesterday afternoon saying he did not authorize anyone to use his signature to challenge the candidacy of Tischler. A separate news report alleges that the Felder Camp also used without authorisation the signature of a Republican to challenge State Senator Storobin; the Republican candidate for the Super Jewish District.
