Russ Britt Reports: Media reports said domestic issues will be the focus of the first debate, held Oct. 3 at the University of Denver. That’s to be followed by a town-hall-style meeting on Oct. 16 at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y. Then, foreign policy will be the center of the Oct. 22 debate at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla.
At the town-hall meeting, undecided voters that are selected by the Gallup polling organization will pose questions for the candidate that a moderator will field and ask the candidates. The other two debates will divide issues into six, 15-minute segments. At the first debate on domestic issues, the candidates will stand at lecterns, but they’ll sit at a table for the latter debate on foreign policy.
The debate between Vice President Joe Biden and Romney’s pick to be his running mate will take place Oct. 11 at Centre College in Danville, Ky.
