As previously reported Here, Rep. Chris Smith, chairman of the House Human Rights Subcommittee, introduced a bill that would ban travel to the U.S. by the foreign officials and their families while American citizens “unjustly languish in their prisons”.
H.R. 6292, the “Justice for Imprisoned Americans Overseas Act,” or “Jacobs Law,” was introduced to congress today with Five Co-sponsors. The more co-sponsors this bill has, the better its chance of being passed and signed into law.
Please take a moment and contact your member of congress, or any other member of congress and politely urge them to Co-sponsor this bill.
