Repeating a Lie While Comparing Someone Else to Goebbels

The chair of the California Democrats was referring to Paul Ryan and the Jamesville plant when he compared the GOP to Goebbels, saying that the GOP blamed Obama on something which took place when he was not even running for office.

The problem is this in itself is a lie! Ryan never blamed Obama for the plant closure. He only pointed out that Obama came running to the plant slated for closure and promised to save it with government help. Half the plant was indeed closed before Obama came into office, and the rest was closed in April 2009; months into the Obama presidency. The plant was not saved despite the Government help given to the auto Industry under Bush in Nov-Dec 2008 and then again in 2009 under president Obama. All this was Ryan’s point that Obama with government-backed promises didn’t save a plant, but by no means did Ryan say or even suggest that the plant closed due to Obama.

Absolutely incredible. Every time I think they’ve gone beyond the pale, the Democrats up the ante.

To Pandemic: What is so incredible is that you and your ilk do not get it

Ryan and Romney wouldn’t have lifted a finger to save that plant at all. For Ryan to suggest that his policy would have is insidious…that IS the Big Lie! Maybe a bigger stimulus in 2009 would have saved it but your party was dead set against that. Which brings us to the biggest lie of all, pointed out by Maureen Dowd…the biggest lie is that Republicans care at all, about anything or anyone, except how to get and stay rich, no matter who or how many get hurt

Obama made a promise he couldn’t keep. Ryan stated it as such. Quit being a partisan fool.

Conveniently overlooking Romney’s continuous charge that Obama eliminated the work requirement in the welfare program, which he did not. That is not the big lie technique right? Get your distorted blinders off jack!

Obama gave the states a waver on the work rule so each state can decide if they want that work thing or not
