No, I am not trying to be cute, and no. Obama saying Sunday that ‘Israel is one of our many allies in the ME region’ instead of saying Israel is our strongest Ally, is no retribution to Bibi openly hoping for Romney to win.
So what gives?
Well, hear me out on this:
Obama and his team are clueless and confused. They have no clue what’s flying on Foreign Policy and what the meaning of words represent. As such, Obama can say one day Egypt is not our ally, while a WH spokesman does away the next day with the meaning of the word altogether (“a term of legal art”), hours before the State Department says that Egypt is indeed an Ally. All this goes on while Obama’s team sets up a presidential meet with Egypt’s Morsi a non-Ally who left our Embassy in the hands of rioters, while in the same time ignoring the leader of “one of our many” ally nations in the Middle East. If this is not confusing enough, the Embassy says sorry to the protesters, only for Washington to back off the apology hours later on the night of 9/11, until of course Hillary went ahead on the morning of 9/12 and apologized to the offended Muslims again.
We foolishly have this notion that Obama and Hillary are sophisticated and therefore we jump up and down based on the words they say or based on whom they don’t meet in the diplomatic world. But the fact is Obama and Hillary are running a clown show of the worst order without the ability to keep all circus objects in the line for one stupid day and without the ability to Blame Bush or The Republicans in Congress. As such their full incompetence is out in the open! This is visible daily in the past two weeks, and I am saying this without giving you the contradicting and confusing story line that the Administration is selling about the Consulate attack. (Sep 12 Obama indicates it’s terror. All week afterwards his admin says it ain’t terror. Then Carney says it is terror, only for Obama to say on uni-vision the next day that we don’t know what it is…)
