The following video of twelve Hasidic Jews meeting the Iranian President is circulating in recent days. However members of the group say that while they indeed met Ahmadinejad Thursday September 27 in NYC, the following video is from an event that took place five years ago.
This group is the same 6-12 Jews that are often seen standing with Palestinians and Arabs at anti-Israel protests. They are different than the majority Ultra Orthodox/Hasidic Jews who are against or simply non-Zionists from a religious perspective but are pro-Israel from a practical perspective (in terms of hoping that Israel’s security is in tact; that Iran does not succeed with a nuclear weapon, that the USA should have Israel’s back at the UN, etc).
