Poll: Jewish GOP Congressional Candidate Altschuler Has Five-Point Lead

Randy Altschuler, the Jewish Republican candidate for NY-1 has a 5 point lead over the Democratic incumbent Bishop, according to a new McLaughlin poll taken for the Altschuler campaign on October 14-15

Currently Altschuler receives 48% to Bishop’s 43%, with 9% undecided. Republican Mitt Romney also leads President Barack Obama on the ballot. Romney receives 54% to Obama’s 42%, with 4% undecided. Romney’s 12 point advantage is strong, as the plurality, 47%, are definitely voting for Romney, compared to just 36% who are definitely voting for Obama.
