The Pro-Palestinian Dem Congressman Pascrell and the Orthodox Jewish Republican Rabbi Shmuley Boteach are the two main faces of the race for New Jersey’s Ninth Congressional District. However, a full-bearded Orthodox Jewish candidate David Smith participated in the third and final debate of this season.
There was not much news about this Smith candidate. Apparently, the third and last debate was the only one where he was invited and/or decided to show up. The debate was sponsored by the “Korean American Civic Empowerment,” and NJ.Com has a few photos of the event.
