Brooklyn – Storobin Reacts to Felder’s Saturday Night Radio Show

Republican State Senator David Storobin responded to accusations made by Mr. Simcha Felder Saturday Night on a radio show, accusing Storobin of running a dirty campaign: “It’s ironic for my opponent to pledge in the final days that he won’t stoop down to negativity , when since he got appointed to the throne, he did everything to push me off the ballot, hijack a primary and spread lies about myself,” said Senator Storobin. “From calling me a fraudster, claiming I’m not Jewish, to spreading that I was born out of wedlock, my opponent has now stooped down to the lowest level of negative campaigning by attacking my family situation and faith, while ducking the real issues of great concern to voters in the district.”

“When meeting with constituents and voters in Boro Park – the neighborhood I grew up in – I hear their concern about the issues my opponent has ducked for a decade. Mr. Felder should prove the accusations about me on the record, or apologize for these personal affronting attacks,” Storobin concluded.

      More nonsense from the Felder people. All that he’s done for the community? Like hiding in the bathroom during the Christine Quinn vote who was for gay marriage? Is that how he fights for the community? Like promising school vouchers twenty years ago and claiming that anyone who says they can get school vouchers isn’t serious, while david is out there sponsoring bills to get these things for the community? Did Felder ever even sponsor a bill like that? Did he bring it to the floor? Did Felder help or hurt the community by repeatedly raising taxes? Did he help them or hurt them when he voted for budgets that cut funding for religious schools? Did Storobin hurt the community by sponsoring bills to lower taxes? Did Felder help them or hurt them when it took him two weeks to come out against Blomburg and his nonsense about circumcision and only in friendly territory on the Dov Hikind show? Why is it that Storobin the supposed community outsider immediately chastised the mayor but it took Felder forever to do it? I’m not talking about the recent nonsense I;m talking originally. Did Feeder help or hurt the community when he went against the voters wishes and moved heaven and earth to make sure Bloomburg got a third term? Why do democrats constantly do things the voters do not want? how completely arrogant.Did he help or hurt the community by working for John Lu whose entire administration is under investigation…when has Fidler ever done anything for this community. When are his follower robots going to stop repeating the same poor cheap lines about Storobin. It’s risky to have a new guy who ran as a conservative and voted as one when he got in office? Really? How so…lets take the committed obama supporting democrat over the school vouchers ender of gay marriage Republican leslator? On what planet?

You are a pice of work. Tell me…Jacob Kornblu ran the Fidler campaign? Are you serious? Whats wrong with you…Jacob was no where near the Fidler campighn. You and Fidler and his cronies are a joke….So let me get this right…Jacob Kornblu supposedly ran an under handed campaighn against storobin and now is a lowlife because he got a picture standing next to a fox news contributor? Is that what im getting here? Talk about underhanded…yeesh. So i guess everything i posted about Felders record goes out the window because Jacob got a picture with a news person…..is this really happening?

        As I wrote below: Felder gave us new garbage cans! He screwed homeowners by making us clean up our sidewalks not once daily, but twice daily at hours when the working class is either on the job or getting their and getting home. Felder is an embarassment to the Jewish community – he council office was inept at best and incompetent and corrupt at worst. Felder was never to be found when people needed his help. But Dov Hikind is more interested in not having competition for the role of top Jewish elected official in Boro Park than he is in getting competent leadership that Hikind pushed his lackey Felder into elected office. Felder ran away from standing up and voting against the Lesbian Quinn for City Council President and this is part of his behavior through his political career. If he was around for the gay marriage bill he probably would have run to the bathroom. Did Felder fight Bloomberg on increased property taxes: NO Increased water bill: NO. Now that Felder has won the election, our community will be in for more of a do-nothing make no waves representative collecting a full time paycheck from the public for a part time job. Wait and see how Felder plays games while deciding whether to join the Republican or Democratic side in Albany and who knows how many bathroom runs Felder will make in Albany to avoid taking a stand on any controversial issue.
        With Storobin, we knew where we stood. With Felder, all we know is that he wears a Kippur on his head and claims to be a Rabbi. After that, who knows how Felder will vote. Felder ran a dirty campaign, something that is unbecoming a religious man. But for Felder to get only 65% of vote in heavily democratic Brooklyn shows that there are plenty of people out there that didn’t want Felder back in public office. Perhaps voters will wake up and if Storobin challenges Felder in two years, we will get someone who is competent back in office.
        When I called Felder’s council office for help – his staff didn’t know if they were dead or alive and were nasty, nasty and even more nasty. I made one call to Storobin – technically speaking, I was not yet in the district – and within 30 minutes, there problem was solved.

      Now that Felder has won, you want to know what Felder did for our community which represented for 8 years: He gave us nice garbage cans (paid by city funds, not his own) with his name on them. However, he should have placed his photo on these cans so everyone could have a target to hit while throwing out our garbage.

    well simcha was right when you see a person that did not do any good and has a record of not telling the truth not when it came to the rent issue and then when it comes to campaigning he writes in his ads that he brought vouchers when in fact all he had done was put in a bill for it and has a long time to pass even if it will pass so what reason is there to vote for him other then that yossi made money from him???? he has not helped anyone in our community compared to simcha who has helped many in our community and has the backing of our community leaders !

He as always said that he sponsored bills to get vouchers but then again being a democrat means you are entitled to your own facts. so you are telling me Felder who twenty years ago promised vouchers and never brought it to the floor…never introduced a bill to get vouchers, told us all to forget about vouchers but now is all for it is better then the candidate who actually sponsored a bill for it? where do they find you people? are you the same two goons who hang outside his office? this is the record twisting and bending over backwards these guys have to go to to sell their candidate?

    I dont care if he eats frogs legs on Yom Kipur (as long as he doesnt lie about it), his family values and record matter much more as a potential elected official.
