Video: The Romney Jeep Ad That Drives Democrats Insane

Liberals keep misleading the public by pointing to the headline of Romney’s “Let Detroit Go Bankrupt” Op-Ed, as if he called for the industry to go under. The Romney camp is hitting back now by pointing out that Obama forced GM into bankruptcy (yes he did), and he sold the majority of Chrysler to an Italian company. It’s a fair game my fellow Libs; eye-for-an-eye.

          I know.
          But according to a Bloomberg News report from just days ago, Fiat’s owner (the firm that has majority stake in Chrysler) said they are hoping to build the Jeep in China.

    Less trucks and SUVs would be great both for the consumer (more fuel efficient vehicles, higher gas mileage, safer) and the environment (hint: everyone should care about the environment. Unless you live in a sealed off space bubble.)

    Fact – China is the worlds largest new car market.
    Fact – Ford and Gm both have units and factories that build products for the Chinese marts, ( GM sells Buicks there )
    Fact – Chrysler used to build and sell Jeeps in China.
    Fact – Obama did force Chrysler to declare bankrupcy, ( Chrysler would not play along to be wholly controlled by the Gov’t ).
    Fact – Fiat/Chrysler IS going to open factory in China to meet Chinese demand for Jeeps.

    It is unlikely that ADDING a Jeep facory in China will mean a LOSS of CURRENT American jobs building Jeeps here. But plans to meet Chinese demand do include offshoring the build-out of those products. Chrysler admits that, ( Bloomberg, WSJ, IBW, DFP ).

    His record as an outsourcing, tax-evader with a penchant for taking credit for what others accomplished while simultaneously trying to destroy those accomplishments… and who left t

    he Massachusetts Governor’s office after one term with a 31% approval rating after vetoing legislation (from stem cell research to a budget amendment to stop outsourcing state work to foreign nations) an unprecedented 800 times… should not be etch-a-sketched down the memory hole.

    Like living in the New Gilded Age? Vote Republican. Like living in a modern nation that works for ALL? Vote straight Democratic.

    For this country to continue moving forward, Republicans must be relegated to permanent minority status – as they were during the years the middle class was built – the 30 years of American History known as “The Great Prosperity” (brought to us by the DEMOCRATIC NEW DEAL).

    The fact is, Republicans have never done a single thing to advance the interests of the WORKING people of this nation – and Romney isn’t going to start now – quite the opposite… they are set to destroy it. Want to see the Republican future for the American working class? Look at China – low wages, no benefits, retirement, safety standards or dignity. THOSE rewards will come in Heaven. Don’t like your lot in life? Forget “working hard and playing by the rules” and enjoying a nice, middle class, life in a good union job – Pull yourself up by your bootstraps and marry a beer heiress. Not rich? Too bad. Eat cake, sucker… better luck next life.

    If we allow the Republicans to steal this election, kiss the American Dream goodbye for good.

    P.S. I know reality has a liberal bias, but Romney DID want to “LET DETROIT GO BANKRUPT.” He called for a PRIVATE bailout with government guarantee (you know…. benefiting private racketeers if successful and leaving taxpayers on the hook if not – AS USUAL) – Unfortunately for Detroit, NO PRIVATE BANKER WANTED TO RISK THE LOAN, so OH WELL. Sucks to be Detroit in Romney’s world. OWN IT.

    Right… right… I forgot… The “Party of Personal Responsibility” only sticks to that motto when trying to deny children a hot lunch program – when it comes to taking responsibility for their FAILED IDEOLOGY – FORGET IT.
