FACT OF THE DAY – INFRASTRUCTURE SPENDING

Federal Transportation spending by term: Bill Clinton $141 billion; Clinton term two $171 billion; Bush $237 billion; Bush term two $262 billion; Obama $389 billion. These outlays do not include the billions more spent by states with funds collected via direct tax and/or tolls, and I am not sure if all these spending include the Highway Bill signed every few years and the Stimulus Bill that was suppose to spend heavy billions on Shovel Ready Jobs.
