Mass Rally For Israel Expected To Draw Thousands Sunday Afternoon In Times Square

Israel ProtestA massive solidarity rally for Israel to be held Sunday afternoon in Times Square. The event will be held from 4-7 p.m. in Times Square on the eastbound side of 42nd and 41st street and 7th avenue.

The event is organized by a private group of young New York Jews led by New York City based entrepreneurs Nachi Yavo, Assaf Shilony, and political activists Eve Stieglitz and Sari Singer.

Speakers will include the organizers above, along with Meredith Weiss, former President and Exec Director and current Advisor for Fuel For Truth, and Pamela Geller.

According to the event’s Facebook page, 3000 people have already confirmed their attendance. “Please share this event with as much people as you can. We need to make some real noise, let’s be heard louder than the rocket sirens,” a message on the event’s FB page reads. “The program will start at 4:00 with speakers followed by surprise live musicians we will announce later on. At the rally, when you post pictures and videos of the rally onto your social media PLEASE use the following HASHTAG: #NYCLovesIsrael – Let’s show everyone in Israel we care and stand behind them and create an international viral campaign spreading the love!!!!”
