The NYPD is investigating a burglary that took place early Thursday morning at a synagogue in Borough Park where thieves allegedly stole $10,000 from a safe, police sources said.
The burglary took place at 4 a.m. at the Tosh Synagogue located at 4615 14th Ave. According to the police, the three men were caught on video removing money from the safe.
Detectives are looking into the possibility that the safe may have been open, since the they were in and out of the shul in seconds.
This is not connected to the burglary of the four Torah scrolls that took place Tuesday at the Avenue O Synagogue, the police said.
