Police Arrest Man Who Assaulted Two Women Last Week in Monsey


The Ramapo Police have arrested the man who allegedly attacked two Jewish women last week in the Town of Ramapo, Chief Brad Weidel told JP Updates.

The man, identified as 28-year-old Adrian Valentin-Polanco, approached the women from behind in their driveway as they were coming home between 8:30 p.m. and 10 p.m., according to police.

The first incident occurred Nov. 1 in Chestnut Ridge. The other took place Nov. 3 in Monsey, where the woman was reportedly maced.


Valentin-Polanco, was charged with Assault in the Second Degree, Assault in the Third Degree, Unlawful Imprisonment in the First Degree and Unlawful Imprisonment in the Second Degree.
