A teeen was caught red-handed by a homeowner breaking into a Borough Park home Saturday night.
Daijore Williams, 17, allegedly snuck in through a rear window to get into the house, but the homeowner heard a noise and went to investigate. He then came face to face with Williams who attempted to rob him, police said.
The teen told the homeowner he was looking for the train station.
Williams ran away, but was spotted a few minutes later by a Shomrim volunteer, who was in the area searching for the suspect. After being arrested, he gave the police the same story of looking for the train station. Police didn’t believe him. He was charged with attempted burglary and is being held on $7,500 bail.
