Someone Had Something Nice to Say About Our Clinton Endorsement

We did not hear many compliments about our endorsement of Hillary Clinton before the election, which was fine, especially when it still looked like Clinton was going to win. Once Clinton lost the election, though, it was hard to find much consolation in an inbox worth of mean missives.

Thankfully, yesterday, we heard something nice that really heartened us. Since we gave space before to different opposing voices, we thought it equally appropriate to print this letter as well. It is again unedited except for the removal of its signature:

As a frum, Chassidic woman who tends to vote democratic, I would like to thank the editors and staff at your publication for providing a platform for news and opinions from across the political spectrum. I applaud your courage in endorsing Hillary Clinton in an environment that is hostile to that opinion. May you have continued success, and may Hashem protect us all during this challenging time.
