Rep. David Kustoff is one of just two Jewish Republicans in all of congress. He hails from the red state of Tennessee, but that doesn’t mean his constituents always agree with his conservative agenda.
A case in point: Wendi L. Wright, who was arrested last week after running Kustoff’s car off the road in protest of his vote to repeal the Affordable Care Act. Although the House of Representatives votes on the replacement plan before it could be officially scored by the Congressional Budget Office, the March version of the plan would have led to 14 million people losing health insurance, and experts think the current version would yield a similar result. Perhaps Wright is one of those 14 million.
