(Video) Haley handles damage control after Trump administration’s Kotel kurfuffle

It’s hard to believe that in 2017, Israel allies are looking to the envoy to the United Nations for reassurance regarding the Trump administration’s stance on Jerusalem, but the past 18 months has not been short on surprises. Earlier this week, the Israeli press began reporting that some White House officials were declaring the Western Wall emphatically part of the West Bank and not Israel. Enter Nikki Haley, Trump’s ambassador to the United Nations, who has gotten rave reviews from pro-Israel circles for her tough talk on the United Nation’s anti-Israel bias.

In the clip above, Haley calls the Kotel  part of Israel. Below, she says the U.S. Embassy should be moved from Jerusalem, which had been Trump’s stance on the campaign trail, though like all previous presidents, he has since backed away from that position. Afterward, she addresses the matter of Trump leaking classified Israeli intel to the Russian Foreign Minister. It’s a lot of damage control, but Haley is game.
