Republican vice-presidential candidate Mike Pence stopped by CBS’s Face the Nation today to discuss voter fraud and the newest revelations in the ongoing Hillary Clinton email saga. As has often been the case with Pence, he seemed to disagree with the other half of the Republican ticket, Donald Trump.

When asked about claims that the election is “rigged,” Pence said “I don’t think there’s been a suggestion about it being stolen,” and host John Dickerson reminded him that, in fact, Trump has used that very word before to describe the election. (The exchange begins at 5:55.) Earlier in the tape, Pence sidestepped discussing Trump’s earlier criticisms of FBI Director James Comey.
